Welcome to the Port of Menteith Primary School

Port of Menteith Primary School is a rural school set in picturesque surroundings overlooking the Lake of Menteith.  It is the oldest school in Stirlingshire dating back to 1697.

Great News!  Port of Menteith Primary School and the Parent Council have been successful in being awarded a second Awards for All grant!  This award of £8,350 is for improving the Wildlife Garden and Pond and the project will be starting very soon.

We have a just giving page if anyone would like to make a donation to any school projects –

News!

On behalf of Port of Menteith Primary School, one of our parents, Alice Struthers, has decided to run in the Stirling half marathon this year to try to raise funds to buy a chromebook for every pupil.  Our children deserve the best chance of learning through digital technology.  Alice is aiming to raise money for as many chromebooks as possible which is why she’s putting myself through a fairly gritty winter training regime in order to be fit enough by April 28th, to run 13.1 miles!  Every pound donated will go straight to the school, to buy chromebooks.  If you feel you can support Alice and our pupils, please donate through this Justgiving page:

Port of Menteith Primary has a school app.  To download the app search 'PSA' in the Apple or Google Play app stores.  Once downloaded, click on the app and choose our school.  The app will be the most up to date information site for the school giving details of Twitter feeds, school news and information about school closures in the event of inclement weather.
